A domestic worker was assaulted at a small holding in Kameeldrift on Thursday morning.
The attack, said AfriForum safety head Ian Cameron, happened around 08:00 when two robbers broke into a house on the property.
“The domestic worker was assaulted and tied up, before the assailants fled with stolen items.”
The robbers gained entry to the small holding in Foxtrot Road by cutting through the fence of a neighbouring property.
“It appears the robbers intended to break into the neighbour’s house, but were unsuccessful,” said Cameron.
After the robbery and assault on the domestic worker, video footage showed the two suspects getting into a vehicle waiting for them in Foxtrot Road.
“They made off with a television, cellphones and cash,” said Cameron.

Cameron said according to security camera footage, the robbers matched the description of two of the suspects sought for the murder of Marlet Entres.
The 61-year-old Entres was shot and killed in September in the same area when three robbers gained entry into her house.
Her husband Manie (62), daughter and grandchild were tied up with their cellphones’ charger cables.
The family’s two dogs were also shot and killed in the attack.
Police were investigating and urges anyone with information on the suspects to call the nearest police station or crime stop on 08600-10111.
