“Police received a complaint from a school about a shop selling drugs and liquor to school kids. During operations, police surprised the shop with the visit,” said Moremi.

He said the police found “many school children” on the premises who said they were there to buy sepatlho (quarter) for lunch.

“Upon searching the premises, police found nyaope in small plastic bags under the counter and liquor in a freezer. The drugs carried a street value of more than R3 000,” he said.

Moremi said the suspects failed to produce a liquor licence so all liquor was seized.
